In this course, students investigated the post-desktop interaction. Because they were not limited to the desktop paradigm, they were able to investigate a new branch of interaction possibilities. The post-desktop environment is richer in forms and the computer has much to contribute in the development of 'behavior' of these environments.

During the course, students developed a project in which they explored some computational resources that have the potential to improve human interaction with your home. Were used light sensors, humidity, presence, and webcam for automatic recognition of the user (face recognition). Engines were used as actuators to implement a more comfortable household (represented by a model) in response to the data obtained from sensors.
Students did a 'hands-on' work, in which they studied a technology used to embed behavior in day-by-day objects (Arduino microcontroller family).
